Terms and Conditions May 2023

  • All dogs and other animals must be registered with Doggy Dawdles.  Consultation and paperwork needs to be filled out and signed by ALL parties before bookings can be made for any service.
  • We will seek to accommodate all dogs on our walks and within other services, however we hold the right to cancel any dogs who we deem not suitable due to whatever reason.  We hold the right to change dogs from group sessions to solo walks, where possible, with the additional compensation due, in light of any behavioural issues that can be managed 1 to 1 – dog aggression, in season bitches, etc. Please note that this may not be possible due to walkers other commitments.
  • All dogs/animals will be met at the consultation (meet and greet) and will be assessed for the best services for them.
  • Written consent is required if you would like your dog to be walked off the lead (On Pet Info Sheet and in the Contracts) which will also note recall. Dogs do NOT get off lead without a good, tried and tested, recall.
  • All dogs accepted must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate including kennel cough (With proof provided, and updated yearly for my records) – Titre test results will be considered.
    • Owners must notify Doggy Dawdles of any dogs that are unwell for ANY reason and will be assessed for appropriateness of attending walks or needing to be excused for a period of time.
    • We do NOT walk dogs with contagious illnesses such as Kennel Cough or Dogs in heat/pregnant.
  • All dogs accepted require to be wormed and de-flea’d regularly – again proof required.
  • In the unlikely event of your dog being involved in an accident or in an emergency, Doggy Dawdles will take your dog to Your Named vet if close by or the closest vet possible.
  • Puppies from 5 months are welcome – please discuss this with your vet.  We recommend a 5 minute walk per month of age but can take your puppy for full time of visit/walk which is mostly sniffing and socialisation more than getting any distance of a walk.
  • All dogs in our care must wear collars/harness with our I.D. tag supplied by Doggy Dawdles in addition to your own tag – must wear tag with owners details, name, address and contact number, by law.
  • Occasional dogs will be invoiced in advance – payment is due on receipt of invoice.
  • Regular dogs will be invoiced week to week, every fortnight or at the beginning of the month (in advance), with payment due on receipt of invoice.  Payment options will depend on services and duration of contract and will be agreed at time of contract approval.
  • If no payment is received Doggy Dawdles reserve the right to refuse your dog and will contact you to inform you of this.  You will receive 2 reminders after the invoice is sent (up to 7 days after the due date) before we will exclude your dog until the invoice is paid.
  • Doggy Dawdles is not liable for any and all eventualities, please check the DOG WALKING CONTRACT for more information.  You are strongly advised to insure your pet for all eventualities.
  • Doggy Dawdles reserves the right to put all doggies on a 3 month probationary period of walks and use of service to assess behaviour and fit.  After this time, owners will have been updated on progress and will be notified of continuation or termination of contract.
  • Doggy Dawdles reserves the right to refuse or terminate the contract of any dog/animal or owner who displays aggressive, destructive, or unreasonable behaviour.
  • All last minute bookings for some services will need to be paid up front.  These include but are not limited to: Pet drop ins; Walks; Pet Care; Pet Sittings; Emergency Care;
