Collars & ID Tags

Dogs must wear a collar with an id tag while in public. by law the tag should have the owners name and address but a contact number would also be preferable.

microchipping

All dogs in the UK should be microchipped by the age of 8 weeks.

Always check your details are recorded on the database correctly and update when needed.

Control of dogs

This Act focuses on responsible dog ownership and public safety. It also covers anyone who is in control of the dog at the time of any offence is committed.
