Our Wedding Chaperone Process
1. Initial Consultation & Discovery Call
We begin with a friendly chat to learn about:
Your wedding date and venues
Your dog’s personality, routine and temperament
How you would love your dog to be involved
Any behavioural or medical considerations
This helps us build a plan that is safe, realistic and tailored to your dog.
2. Choose Your Package (Silver, Gold or Platinum)
We offer three core packages — Silver, Gold and Platinum — each with different levels of involvement and care. These packages act as a starting point, and we customise every detail based on your vision.
All packages are fully customisable based on your wedding timeline, venue and your dog’s individual needs.
3. Pre-Wedding Meet & Familiarisation
To ensure your dog feels confident and secure, we arrange:
A pre-wedding meet
Getting-to-know-you time
A review of their routine and care needs
For dogs with special roles (ring bearer, entrance walk, greeting guests), we’ll discuss how to manage these safely and calmly.
4. Wedding Day Care & Support
On your wedding day, we handle everything, including:
Pick-up and transport
A pre-wedding walk to relax and settle them
A full freshen-up and dressing in their chosen accessories
Support with photos and posing
On-lead or off-lead supervision
Toilet breaks, fresh water and high-quality natural treats
Comfort breaks in a quiet area if needed

5. Relaxed Transport Home
Once their role in the day is complete, we will transport your dog back home or to their agreed boarding accommodation, ensuring a calm and stress-free end to their exciting day.

It’s always stressful to have to leave your dog when you are going away. So whether it is just for a couple of days or for an extended period, we will alleviate all your worries and ensure that your dog is getting their usual routine and daily exercise. Doggy Dawdles will look after your dogs within your dogs own home environment to reduce the stress of busy kennels or new environments, and having to learn new house rules. As dedicated, experienced dog lovers, we are familiar with a wide range of dog breeds and ages and are able to understand and accommodate the individual needs, habits and personalities of your dogs.
Your dogs will keep their usual daily routine within their own surroundings.
