About Doggy Dawdles
Doggy Dawdles started in June 2021, after losing my job to Covid (as many did). It was always a passion to work with animals so I took the plunge and I am so thankful for the customers who trusted me at the beginning and those who continue to trust me today.
I have always been around dogs as members of our family since I was young so I understand their needs, although all unique, ultimately come down to exercise, stimulation and socialisation. Having had dogs and having to work long hours and juggle other commitments while ensuring my four-legged friend was well cared for I am best placed to understand how hard it can be.
We offer a friendly, reliable dog walking service around the Lothians with walks varied around the county. Your dog will be picked up from their home and dropped off, with clean paws (and anything else that gets muddy) having had lots of fun. All dogs, if permission given, will have their photos taken on walks and visits and posted on Doggy Dawdles social media as a means to keep pawrents up-to-date and show the happy faces having fun 🙂
New Dogs will be walked on leash until we learn to trust each other, and recall can be tested. Doggy Dawdles will ensure that your dogs needs are met while giving them some loving company, with cuddles and treats (if allowed) throughout the working day. I have spent the last wee while studying and travelling, continuing my love for Animals, and have various relevant qualifications to help me care for your animals as I would my own.

I am capable, trustworthy and able to deal with situations as they arise. I am the type of person who will go the extra mile when looking after your dog, as this is second nature to me. I am an animal lover but have a lot of respect for them, making sure dogs can be dogs.
Many clients are nervous about using this service for the first time. It is crucially important that your concerns are immediately put to rest by meeting a friendly and caring person.
I have over 30 years experience with dogs and an excellent track record with animals as l come from an animal background. l am happy to provide written references, as well as put you in touch with clients who are happy to talk to you and tell you of their experiences.
I completely understand the importance of other concerns you have regarding the age, health and well-being of your animal if needed. I am happy to communicate with other professionals and take your dog to see them.
I will be in contact with you while you are away, in case of any problems and to provide up-to-date dogs’ antics.
